A not-too-distant unexplored corner of the world.

2North likes the edge of the map. The undefined parts.

The Orkneys and Faroes are certainly that. Using Edinburgh as our entry and exit to the region, the picturesque Scottish highlands landscapes called to us. Lush, mountainous, ancient, and friendly…the Wild Northern Isles await.

A few highlights

Faroes Helicopter

The farther east you want to go in the Faroes, the harder it is to get there. No problem. We’ll take a helicopter to the most remote, enjoy a meeting with local farmers, and enjoy spectacular views from the air along the way.

Weaving Tales

Our guide in the Orkneys and Scotland is not only versed in historical fact and tradition, but a master storyteller, to boot. Our visits to these places—steeped in historical and allegorical narratives—will come alive in ways few others experience.

Taste the Skye

Enjoy a private tour and tasting of local morsels on the Isle of Skye, created by a former Ritz-Carlton and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay (3-star Michelin) chef.
